OGALLALA - A North Platte pediatrician with ties to Ogallala will appear on national television Friday evening as a contestant on “Wheel of Fortune,” according to announcements from Great Plains Health and Ogallala Public Schools.

Dr. Melissa (Zimmerman) Mosel, a pediatrician at Great Plains Health in North Platte, will be featured on the long-running game show Friday at 6:30 p.m. CST. Ogallala Public Schools noted that Mosel is an OHS alumna and the daughter of Spanish teacher Rosa Zimmerman.

Great Plains Health encouraged the community to tune in and cheer for Mosel, saying the hospital is proud to support her.

“We’ll be cheering for you,” Ogallala Public Schools added in its announcement.

Mosel’s episode airs Friday at 5:30 p.m. MST for viewers in the Ogallala area.
