SIDNEY -- The Evangelical Free Church gymnasium is turning green, red and everything Christmas in preparation for the annual Table of Grace Christmas sale.

The sale is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. It is one of the primary fund-raising events for Table of Grace.

Table of Grace director Sherri Eads said proceeds help support the ministries. The Table of Grace is trying to meet a challenge grant by Bell Pole & Lumber.

"We usually fill up this gym with Christmas stuff. It is usually completely full, every table. All our sales go toward our Bell Pole & Lumber matching grant. This year we're doing a silent auction that we haven't done before. And also, Scooters donated cookies and we're selling those and all the cookies come with a dollar coupon from Scooters," Eads said.

Table of Grace has four outreach ministries: Table of Grace food pantry, the thrift store, the King's Inn and the Sidney Nazarene Church.
