Banner County School District recently announced it is the recipient of an Excellent rating by the Nebraska Department of Education's 2024-2025 AQuESTT accountability system.

Excellent is the highest rating awarded by the Nebraska Department of Education.

AQuESTT -- Accountability for a Quality Education System, Today and Tomorrow -- is Nebraska's next-generation accountability system. It looks beyond test scores and considers the whole educational experience, including student growth, improvement over time, and success across six key areas such as partnerships, transitions, educational opportunities, readiness, assessment and educator effectiveness.

This year, Banner County achieved the Excellent classification based on • Student achievement above the state average in ELA, Mathematics and Science; and • Continued academic improvement, showing steady growth across the District.

This recognition celebrates Banner School District's shared commitment to providing every student with a strong, well-rounded educational experience.
