SIDNEY, Neb. - The City of Sidney announced Wednesday that Saturday transportation services will be suspended until further notice because of state-level budget reductions.

Weekday operations will continue as usual, with buses running Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

In a notice to riders, the city apologized for the inconvenience and thanked residents for their understanding as officials adjust to the budget changes.

No timeline was provided for when Saturday service may resume.
