Valentine, NEB. – The Chesterman Foundation, the charitable arm of Chesterman Coca-Cola, has expanded its community giving this year to strengthen the local communities where its employees live and work. As part of this initiative, the Chesterman Foundation has awarded a $2,500 donation to the Sandhills Area Foundation.

A formal check presentation took place on Monday, January 26, with Brian Gilliland, General Manager of Chesterman Coca-Cola, Nate Modlin, Area Manager for Chesterman Coca-Cola, and Chad Gaver, Long Pine Operations Supervisor, presenting the donation to representatives of the Sandhills Area Foundation.

“The Chesterman Foundation is proud to invest in communities that support our employees and our business,” said Nate Modlin. “Our company’s success depends on the strength and vitality of the people we serve, and this contribution reflects our ongoing commitment to helping those communities thrive.”

Chad Gaver added, “It’s rewarding to see our company give back right here in north-central Nebraska. The Sandhills Area Foundation does great work supporting local causes, and we’re excited to help further that mission.”

The funds from the Chesterman Foundation will be used to support local scholarships, grants and community programs that improve quality of life across the Sandhills region.

“We are grateful for the Chesterman Foundation’s generosity and belief in the power of community,” said Kim Marlatt, President of the Sandhills Area Foundation. “Partnerships like this make it possible for us to support our local community and continue building a stronger future for the Sandhills.”

The Sandhills Area Foundation strengthens north-central Nebraska communities by administering scholarships and grants with local opportunities for impact, from education and youth programs to community development initiatives.
