Pender outlasts Oakland-Craig for third straight conference title

STANTON - Class C2 #1 Pender came up big late, beating #3 Oakland-Craig in a back-and-forth affair 51-48 to win the East Husker Conference Championship.

It's the Pendragons' third straight conference title, and 7th overall.

The win also marked Pender's second over the conference rival this season, and tenth in their last eleven matchups with the Knights.
