Kelley’s 27 points propel Scottsbluff to 64-60 semifinals win over Norris

LINCOLN — Nate Kelley scored 27 points and the Scottsbluff Bearcats beat Norris 64-60 in the Class B state semifinals.
The win puts the #3 Bearcats in the state championship game for the second-straight season. #2 Norris ends its season in the semifinals for the second season in a row.
Scottsbluff led after every quarter and had a 14-point cushion with 3:10 left in the third quarter. The Titans fought back to tie the game at 56-56 with 1:55 to go. Kelley scored three points down the stretch and assisted on a three-point make from Esai Sabala to secure the win.
Scottsbluff will play Elkhorn North in the title game at 6:15 p.m CT Saturday.
