Grant County Sheriff orders immediate evacuations for Whitman due to wildfire

An evacuation is underway in the Panhandle as the Grant County Sheriff’s Office ordered all residents in Whitman and the surrounding area to leave their homes Wednesday due to a fast-moving vegetation fire.
