Healthcare providers at the Howard County Medical Center participated in virtual town hall Tuesday where they answered people's questions about the COVID-19 vaccination. The event was held via Zoom and was livestreamed through Facebook for people to join in.

Med Center officials said the live event could help out people who were unsure whether or no they wanted to get the vaccine or if they were curious to learn more.

"A great opportunity for everyone to ask their questions, and have them answered in the comfort of their own home without other opinions coming at them from whatever way," said Dream Solko, Howard County Med Center. "Just really be able to ask them, get the answers, and process it and use that knowledge to make your decision for yourself."

Solko said having these local providers with familiar faces answer questions would make their responses feel more personal and trustworthy.
