Temperature differs by more than 70 degrees across Nebraska
Temperatures are looking different across the state today.
NEBRASKA -- Temperatures are looking different across the state today.
As of 5 p.m., there was a 73 degree difference between the northwestern part of the state and the southeastern part of the state.
Harrison's temperature measured at 18 degrees, and Falls City's temperature measured at 91 degrees.
Some counties in the panhandle are in either a blizzard warning or a winter storm warning.
Meanwhile, counties at the southern tip of the state are in a red flag warning.
Dawes, North Sioux, Eastern Cherry, Sheridan, and Western Cherry are in a blizzard warning until 7 p.m. CT/6 p.m. MT.
Winter storm warnings for Box Butte, South Sioux, Dawes, North Sioux, Banner, Morrill, Scotts Bluff, Cheyenne, Kimball, Boyd, Brown, Garden, Grant, Holt, Hooker, Keya Paha, Rock, and Thomas are in effect until 7 p.m. CT/6 p.m. CT.
Winter storm warnings are in place until 1 a.m. CT/12 a.m. MT for Arthur, Blaine, Chase, Custer, Deuel, Garfield, Keith, Lincoln, Logan, Loup, McPherson, Perkins, and Wheeler.
Red flag warnings are in place until 8 p.m. CT/7 p.m. MT for Fillmore, Thayer, Cass, Gage, Jefferson, Johnson, Lancaster, Nemaha, Otoe, Pawnee, Richardson, Saline, Sarpy, and Seward.
