RUSHVILLE, Neb. - Republican incumbent Dan Kling will face Democrat Kim Rosane for Sheridan County commissioner in the general election.

Kling captured the most votes at 136, followed by Jim Paul at 72 and Mark Yardley at 55.

For the Gordon-Rushville Public Schools Board of Education member, six candidates will move on to the general election. Nick Sasse received the most votes at 477, followed by Ryan Alcorn at 465, Bobbi Archibald at 390, Warren Scheenen at 316, Jason Gantz at 290 and Jessica Houston at 211. Chris Heiting (205 votes) and Amy Lefler (142 votes) will not be in the general election.

As the only two candidates running for the District 43 legislature, both Tanya Storer and Tony Tangwall will advance to the general election. However, their total votes were close in Sheridan County, which could make for an interesting race in November. Storer captured 490 votes and Tangwall 481.
