Two cited for bootlegging in Mission, SD

According to Rosebud Sioux Tribe Law Enforcement Services, authorities executed a search warrant at a home on the north side of Mission. Inside they found more than 200 bottles of vodka, nearly $500 in small denomination bills, $500 in coins and two guns.

MISSION, S.D. - Two people have been cited for bootlegging in Mission, South Dakota. According to Rosebud Sioux Tribe Law Enforcement Services, authorities executed a search warrant at a home on the north side of Mission. Inside they found more than 200 bottles of vodka, nearly $500 in small denomination bills, $500 in coins and two guns.

 

The two people cited include a tribal member and non-tribal member. Rosebud Sioux Tribe Law Enforcement Services is consulting with the RST Prosecutor’s Office and RST Council about the possibility of barring the non-tribal member from tribal lands.
