GORDON, Neb. - A 59-year-old Gordon man could face additional charges in connection with child pornography. As News Channel Nebraska reported earlier this year, Robert Amiotte-Hedley is charged with one count of possession of visual depictions of sexually explicit conduct. Now the State of Nebraska has filed paperwork to add additional counts, including six counts of distributing a visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct of a child, one count of possessing a visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct of a child, and one count of possessing a visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct of a child with intent to distribute.

“Through ongoing and continuing investigation, law enforcement has uncovered multiple incidents of the trading, delivery or distribution of visual depictions of sexually explicit conduct involving a child and incidents where the defendant possessed visual depictions of sexual explicit conduct with the intent to trade, deliver or distribute such visual depictions,” the court paperwork reads.

According to an arrest affidavit, Amiotte-Hedley admitted to a Gordon police officer to having a couple hundred pictures on his phone of children performing sexual acts. The children allegedly ranged in age from infants to teens.

The court paperwork also mentions that authorities were tipped off about the case by Predator Poachers, a private nationwide organization that tracks people associated with child pornography.

Amiotte-Hedley is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 12, 2024.
