Sheridan County election results

Unofficial results are in for the Sheridan County general election, with 74% of registered voters casting a ballot.

RUSHVILLE, Neb. - Unofficial results are in for the Sheridan County general election, with 74% of registered voters casting a ballot.  Republican Dan Kling will retain his seat on the Sheridan County Board of Commissioners. He captured 437 votes, while Democrat Kim Rosane received 314 votes.

Nick Sasse (1008 votes), Ryan Alcorn (964 votes) and Bobbi Archibald (748 votes) won the three Gordon-Rushville School Board seats.

Jerod Petersen (404 votes) and Alyssa DeHart (324 votes) won the two Gordon City Council seats.

As for the Hay Springs School Board, five people ran for three seats. Katy Hughbanks (268 votes), Miriam Kearns (207 votes) and Tami Milne (187 votes) will fill those positions.

Tanya Storer received 1255 votes and Tony Tangwall 1061 for the District 43 legislative seat. Voters in several counties will be deciding who replaces Tom Brewer, who is term limited.
