ATKINSON, Neb. -- The family of Jack Hoffman says they are "praying for a miracle" after doctors found multiple new tumor locations.

On CaringBridge, Jack's mom wrote that he has had a rough couple of weeks.

He was supposed to started cycle 2 of chemo on Tuesday, but Monday he stated to feel unwell during class. As the day progressed, his symptoms got worse even with his medication.

Jack's college friends took him to the ER. He got IV medications and they did an MRI which showed potential tumor growth. Jack's mom said they wanted them to follow up with oncology.

Jack was able to come home Sunday, and his mom said they are "still praying for a miracle."
