Two arrested on drug charges at Valentine City Park

VALENTINE, Neb. - Two people were arrested after Valentine Police say they discovered drugs and drug paraphernalia in their possession at Valentine City Park.

According to the Valentine Police Department, an officer approached a vehicle parked at the park on Jan. 15 around 7:00 p.m. Following the interaction, a 20-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman, both from South Dakota, were taken into custody. They face charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Authorities have not released additional details regarding the incident.
