Two teens charged in connection with Scottsbluff teen’s murder

Two Scottsbluff teenagers are facing murder charges after the death of 15-year-old Wyatt Reeb.

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. - Two Scottsbluff teenagers are facing murder charges after the death of 15-year-old Wyatt Reeb.

According to Scottsbluff Police, Reeb died Tuesday night from injuries sustained during an assault late Monday evening around 10:25 p.m. near 5th Avenue and East Overland. Authorities report that Reeb suffered a penetrating wound to the chest during the attack.

The suspects, 17-year-old Devante D.A. Castellaw and 16-year-old Corey T. Rotherham Jr., have been charged with second-degree murder, a Class IB felony, and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony, a Class II felony.

The Scottsbluff Police Department continues to investigate the case.
