VALENTINE, Neb. - Engaged couples will have a unique opportunity to get married in Valentine, Nebraska, on Valentine’s Day 2026. The Valentine Chamber of Commerce is bringing back its wedding chapel tradition, along with a special vacation package to make the occasion even more memorable.

“The Valentine Chamber of Commerce welcomes everyone to share the love in the Heart City,” said Chamber Director Jenny Moore.

The chapel will be set up at Our Savior Lutheran Church on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026. According to Moore, the city previously hosted similar weddings but has not done so in several years.

While details of the vacation package are still being finalized, it is expected to include a hotel stay, dinner for two, champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries, flowers, and a decorated chapel backdrop for the ceremony.

In the meantime, Valentine is preparing for its 2025 Valentine’s Day Celebration, which will feature events such as the Raising of the Heart and Ping-Pong Ball Drop, Cupid’s Chili Cook-off, and the Chocolate Lovers Dream Contest.
