West Holt downs Yutan in chaotic C2 bracket

By News Channel NebraskaLINCOLN - The top two seeds in Class C2 didn't make it past day one of the NSAA State Basketball Tournament.
Hours after top-seed Freeman fell to Archbishop Bergan, seven-seed West Holt led wire-to-wire in a dominant 48-33 win over two-seed Yutan.
The Chieftain offense never found a comfort zone against the Huskies. Yutan missed 14 of their first 15 shots and finished shooting 22% from the field.
West Holt built a 48-25 lead when both teams started pulling their starters and Yutan ended the game on an 8-0 run.
The Huskies now advance to the semifinals for the first time since 1988.
