Driver seriously injured after crashing into tree in Valentine

VALENTINE, Neb. - A 27-year-old woman suffered serious injuries after crashing into a tree late Wednesday night in Valentine.

According to the Valentine Police Department, authorities were called to the 800 block of N. Green Street around 11:55 p.m. on June 25. Investigators say the vehicle appeared to have veered off the road before striking a tree.

The driver was transported by emergency medical services to Cherry County Hospital with serious injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
