Norfolk Public Schools to vote on teacher's pay increase

A new contract carries pay raises for teachers in northeast Nebraska

NORFOLK, Neb. — An agenda for the Norfolk Public School Board meeting Monday shows details of the new teaching contract.

According to the specifics of the negotiated agreement, the base salary for NPS teachers will increase by about 10%, with annual raises built in.

Base coaching salaries are also increasing.

District documents state the teachers union has approved the new agreement, which would go into effect next school year.
