Governor Pillen announcing that he's teamed up with a national conservative organization to expand student groups across the state

Pillen saying in a press release that he and Turning Point USA will announce a statewide partnership Tuesday afternoon aimed at bringing Turning Point Club America chapters to every Nebraska high school.

The organization was founded by Charlie Kirk, who was shot and killed in September at a Turning Point event in Utah, and focuses on growing the conservative movement among high school and college-aged students.

Pillen says the announcement will also address any challenges to the creation of these chapters.

The news conference will be livestreamed at 3 p.m. Tuesday.
