PONCA - Eleven point deficits generally don't vanish in the blink of an eye.

But Norfolk Catholic's did Friday. They used a 16-0 run in the second quarter to turn a 23-12 deficit into a 28-23 lead, and never looked back from there, dominating Ponca Friday 71-39.

The Knights' outside shooting keyed the run. They hit 13 3-pointers - tied for their second most this season - and swarmed Ponca defensively, allowing just 10 second-half points.

The win is Norfolk Catholic's 16th in their last 17 games.
