Pine Ridge couple indicted for embezzlement, fraud, and larceny from the Oglala Sioux Tribe involving funds for tribal youth

A Pine Ridge couple has been indicted by a federal grand jury on multiple charges, including conspiracy to commit wire fraud, 14 counts of wire fraud, larceny and embezzlement and theft from an Indian Tribal Organization, in connection with funds intended for youth services on the reservation.

WNCC volleyball falls twice at Reiver Invite

The Western Nebraska Community College volleyball team opened the season with two hard-fought matches at the Reiver Invite on Friday in Council Bluffs, Iowa. WNCC wrapped up the invite on Saturday facing Jefferson College and then College of Southern Idaho. The Cougars opened the invite falling to Dodge City Community College and then lost to the host squad Iowa Western Community College.
