Katie Raffelson recently completed her Nebraska Community Foundation Hometown Internship in Sidney. Katie participated in community meetings, visited local organizations and businesses, attended Nebraska Community Foundation learning sessions, and helped support SAGA initiatives. She also helped develop the new SAGA Youth Committee.

The Cheyenne County Commissioners asked Sheriff Adam Frerichs to budget a new patrol vehicle in the coming budget, and one in the year after. The commissioners expressed concern of availability if two were budgeted for one year as first submitted.
