ROSEBUD, S.D. - A Rosebud, South Dakota man has been sentenced to more than 11 years in prison for sexually abusing teen girls. Shane Mousseaux, 37, was convicted of three counts of Sexual Abuse of a Minor and two counts of Abusive Sexual Contact.

The conviction stems from incidents between 2020 and 2022 when Mousseaux, who lived on the Yankton Sioux Reservation with his then-girlfriend and her children, engaged in multiple sexual acts with her teenage girls. The girls were 14 and 15 years old during that time.

In addition to the prison sentence, Mousseaux will spend five years on supervised release and is ordered to pay $500 to the Federal Crime Victims Fund.
