VALENTINE, Neb. - Two local businesses are teaming up to create a new all-day food destination in Valentine.

Be Filled, which currently operates a mobile coffee truck, is moving into Old Mill to serve coffee and espresso inside the building. As part of the collaboration, Old Mill will extend its restaurant hours starting Aug. 11, staying open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. instead of closing at 2 p.m.

“We’re super excited for Be Filled to come in. We love their coffee and their mission,” said Colton Gilbert with Old Mill.

Old Mill will continue to offer baked goods and food, but it will temporarily stop selling breakfast items and coffee between Aug. 11 and Sept. 2—when Be Filled officially opens its indoor location. Be Filled will serve drinks in the location starting at 7:00 a.m.

“We’re excited to move in and collaborate with them,” said Be Filled owner Tonia Kaup. “We hope to make Old Mill a gathering place between the coffee, bakery, sandwiches and pizza.”

Be Filled will continue operating its coffee truck through Aug. 22 and plans to bring it out again for future events.
