KIMBALL -- The Clean Harbors construction crew is in the final months of completing the sitework and utilities at the Light House Subdivision and has moved apartment buildings onto the property.
“It’s all going pretty well,” said Senior Vice President of Facility Engineering Paul Whiting. “The city has been a great help working with us on inspections and with the electrical work which we very much appreciate.”
Clean harbors has contracted a crew to complete the water, sewer and electrical hookups through apartments and houses, and the city has brought in the main electrical service.
Whiting said all the site work and utilities need to be done by the end of July and once it is approved by the city, employees can begin to move in.
Whiting said they have a list of employees interested in moving from temporary housing into the new apartments.
As for the housing lots, Whiting said, “We have several people who are anxious to break ground on housing, but we need to finish the site work and utilities before we can let anyone break ground.”
